Anything but a Card Challenge!

We took the last 2 months off from Challenges,
but we are back for an exciting June Challenge.
June is right around the corner and summer has begun.
There are always so many fun projects for the summer and I love
seeing all the different an unique things people make.

For June's Challenge, it is super simple and it will give you the
opportunity to think outside the box!
"Anything but a Card"...... create what ever your heart desires except NO cards.

Here are a few things the Timeless Twine DT made:

How cute is this notebook? The color combo
is so super Yummy and I love the center
of the flower.

What a great way to add twine to a tag.
Braiding it gives it a whole new look.

How Boo-tiful is this layout?  I love the
lil' "BOO" banner.  It gives it the perfect finishing touch.

Gaby

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this layout!  Maybe it's because my
daughters name is Bella, or the cute embellishments,
or maybe it's the amazing color combo.
Either way,  I think I will have to case this layout, LOL!

Rosa

This lovely Butterfly Mobile is too too cute!
Perfect for a lil' ones nursery, baby shower, or just
to have as a eye popping decoration.

Please stop by each ladies blog to show them some love!  They did an amazing job!

2012 Graduation Center Pieces

Hope everybody is having a great Friday!
Gaby here with a center piece or pieces to match the cap/graduation card I shared HERE

My assistant at one of the High Schools I work at is having her graduation ceremony/party tomorrow and I helped her create six center pieces and a banner for her zebra-pink themed party.
I created tiny tassels for each double sided center piece and additional larger ones that will go on the banner.  Some of the balls on the center pieces were created using tulle, others using tissue paper and vary in shades of pink.
She wanted bling on the cap, so bling she got!
We met yesterday so that I can give her what I created.  She will put it together on Saturday.  I will share on a future post pictures of the banner and center pieces.  The banner will say Dessert Bar and will have the larger tassels and some tulle.

Candy Stick Favors

Hi Twineaholics!

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, here today to share with you a cute and simple way to create candy favors.  With 3 kids in school I always have holidays, class parties, birthdays, etc. that can use a kiddie treat.  And what kid doesn't love candy?!

I made these candy sticks for my oldest daughter's soccer team this past weekend.  We traveled to compete in a State Cup tournament.

Supplies:

Soccer ball cut at 2 inches using the Cricut "Sports Mania" cartridge.

I tied them onto the cellophane bags using the "Aqua Blue/White" Timeless Twine.

You can find the bags here, and the twine here.

I filled the bags with Smarties and Tootsie Rolls, but you can also fill them with M&Ms, Skittles, or gum balls.

Thanks for stopping by!
