Just Having Fun with Tags!

Hello Friends!

Melissa here today with a fun tag. I love tags. I hoard tags. I think in tags. I can't get enough of them. I think because the "canvas" area is small and you can do LOTS of techniques on them. I have tag color swatches, ink technique tags and design principles tags on a ring binder. So yeah, I love to play with tags!

I had this kit out and it had a sewing theme so I jumped in and made this:

It came together so fast! Another reason tags & I get along :) The scissors and needle are chipboard pieces I colored with ink.

The gorgeous twine color is Chocolate Chip Brown

I also wanted to mention a super fun hop we're doing with Some Odd Girl March 8th! Save the date, there will be prizes and amazing projects by both teams! We are SO excited!!

Have a Twine-tastic day!

Lucky Me...

Hey All!! It's Kristy here sharing a St. Patty's day card with all of you. I cannot believe how fast this month has flown by! It's soon to be March, but the good thing about that... spring is on the way. YAY!! Personally, I'm SO over winter and ready for some warmer temps!! I'd give to be on a warm sunny beach somewhere right about now!

Ok, enough day dreaming about warm beaches... let's take a peek at my card.

St. Patty's is fast approaching, so I thought this would be the perfect time to get a card done for it. But, at the same time, this card could be used for that special person in your life as well. It screams St. Patty's day, but it could be used in various ways to tell someone how lucky you are to have them.

For this I used the Olive Green Timeless Twine, a white gel pen for doodling and the SVG's are from Scraptastical Kreations. I wrapped the twine around the scalloped square base (the white), and then applied the top base or the shamrock on top. It gives it a great touch and lots of dimension as well. Add a bit of doodling to give it that extra kick and you're good to go.

Hope you all have a Twine-tastic day!!

Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone!

Amy K. here with a card using those ever so popular wood veneers.  And if you are like me, you have begun to hoard/collect them.

My card uses wood butterfly veneers from Michael's and I embellished them with Raspberry Lemonade Timeless Twine!  An easy simple way to embellish these wood veneers is use twine for the body.  I've used Glossy Accents again to adhere my twine.

You are my SUNSHINE!

Heyyie guys! I am back with more card inspiration!:D

For this assignment, I decided to do a cheery card!:)

I was super inspired by this song, "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy, when skies are grey, you never know dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away!"

To all of you out there who may be feeling down, I hope this card cheered you up as much as it cheered me up! Because yellow and sunshine rays makes me happy!

These are the different colours of twines I used to create the rainbow:

Happy Days Layout

Hi Crafty Friends!!

Melisa from Melisa's Crafty Creations here today to share a layout that I made of my twins Nicholas & Joseph.  I wanted to keep this layout simple and the main focus to be the pictures and twine.  Without further ado, Here it is.

I used the Olive Green twine for the bow on the camera.

I looped the Pumpkin Orange twine through the banner and then glued it down with some Scotch Quick Dry Glue.  I also used the Pumpkin Orange on the buttons.  You can see it in the picture below.

You can buy the Olive Green HERE

Such a TWINE scene...

Happy Day Twine Friends.. Annette Allen here with you today with a fun way to use Timeless Twine. I decided to try something different and this the result. I took a rub-on from Clever Handmade and rubbed it on a thicker card-stock and started stitching away. I am really happy with the result and don't you just love these fun little birdies?
On this card I used Timeless Twine: Bubble Gum, Aqua Blue, Lemonade Yellow, Firecracker and Cherry Red. You can mixed up all the colors and they just look great together.
You can view all the Timeless Twine colors HERE.
Well I hope that you enjoyed today post

{Can't.Stop.Using.New.Release.Twine.}

I seriously cannot stop using the new release twine....I am in love with the Natural Twine...I also added the new Graphite Gray for good measure. I have literally used twine on everything lately. I sound like a total valley girl, but like, I cannot express how much I adore twine.

Take a look at another way you can use the twine to "outline" and add dimension to your layouts...

Thanks for looking! Here's the twine I used on this layout:

Pumpkin orange for the butterfly trails.
Olive green for the bow
Bubble gum pink is used to tie it to the gift.

Natural Timeless Twine Blog Hop

Happy Hop Day!

I have been wanting to release this for so long.
I just love the simplicity of an all natural twine.
This natural twine is so soft and beautiful and
it can be used for so many crafting projects.

Here is what I created using a string art template you can find here
Instead of nails or brads I opted to "sew" the string onto a kraft card.
A simple card I will be sending to a special someone.
I just need to add a sentiment and send.

You are O-Fish-ally my Valentine!

Debbie from Bugjuiced here!
WOW don't fall off your chair but I made a layout! Now we have to pretend it still before Valentines day because I had this project done and it was suppose to be my last post project and I did it ahead of time and forgot that I had done something so instead of showing this I made the flower card!

I seem to struggle with laying out a layout!! hee hee but my fish turned out too big for a card so a layout (simple be it) was born. I used a cute little cut from the Silhouette Online store. The frame is also a silhouette file. Just doodled a bit on it and the fish already had the holes that cut out around it so it was perfect to stick twine in! The twine I used is Pumpkin orange I think it matches perfectly to the fish color and the colors in my photo mat.
One day I will get around to actually putting photos on my photo mats or actually making photo albums for my photos! Right now seems I do things just to do them. Stop over to Timeless Twine (Bella Creationz) to grab you some twine.

They have so many new colors and stay tuned because on
Feb. 16th we have a new twine release blog hop. You won't want to miss it!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Don't forget to set your calendars on Feb. 16th Timeless Twine will have another new release Blog Hop! Two lucky people will win a spool of the new twine! :)
