Quick Christmas Bag

Debbie here from Craftin' Chaos and I again am running low on time. We have had alot going on at our house this week. New carpets went in and we had to move 3 bedrooms and a large living room full of carpet and to save money we ripped up the old ones also so it was a total of 5 days work for us to do that and move the furniture back in. Then the holidays in which I hosted so I had loads of cooking to do and just when I thought I could relax the hubs tells me we need to bathe and groom the dogs so that was a 3+ hours of work right there. NOW I think I can maybe take a small breather before we prepare to go on a trip to Las Vegas.

So I made this really quick and simple gift bag. I bought these gold and silver foiled papers at Michaels and I love them and they were all 70% off. I should have bought more of them. The quality of the paper is quite nice and I love its so blingy!

This silver was so pretty with the almost charcoal grey looking background that I knew I would use a non traditional color of twine on it cause the black just makes it look that much more elegant.

I used the solid black twine and popped a few jingle bells on them. I cut the little shaped tag from the silhouette store and since the paper is slick I used Staz On to make sure there would be no smearing. Some inks never dry well when on slick paper so this was the best ink to use.

I love this new Holiday sentiment set from Bella Creationz. I hope she does more of these big brush type scripts cause they are really nice. Stop over and grab the set you will not regret it.

The bag was a cut file from Svgcuttingfiles.com

Happy Holidays Card

Hi everyone, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs. For todays project I decided to make a simple holiday card. I used "Cherry Red" Timeless Twine around the tree and star, and the "Holiday Sentiments" stamp set from Bella Creationz.

I'm not a huge sticker fan, but it comes in handy when your feeling low on energy, so I used the two snowmen, bird and Christmas tree stickers from Echo Parks "Everybody Loves Christmas " page kit. This is from a much older kit (2010)... I thought it was time I finally put some of it to use, lol.

I used MS snowflake punch, baby blue rhinestones and the swirl embossing folder for the snow. Inked the edges and faux stitched using a white gel pen. Lastly, I built up the layers with foam tape.

Enjoy...

Ornament Fun

Karen N here from from Craftily Yours!  Christmas is coming!  Yay!  I love Christmas, decorating trees, presents, family and FUN!

I decided to create a Christmas card using FuN ornaments and Timeless Twine in Cherry Red.

That FUN sentiment is from the NEW Bella Creations Holiday Sentiment Stamps.  I used some pretty Bella Creationz Sequins available soon in the Bella Creationz Store.  The paper is from Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettia, and the other ornaments are from Memory Box and Tim Holtz Festive Scribbles.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Have you "liked" Timeless Twine on Facebook yet?  You should, so you stay up on all the lovely twine-tastic goodness....

Craftily yours,

Karen

Most Wonderful Day - Give Thanks

Hi friends!
Pad is here and although in my country we did not have Autumn in our season or celebrate Thanksgiving but still I want to make scrapbook with theme Gratitude. I make a simple layout to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary this month using our wedding photo on the page. I use Autumn Splendor twine and new stamp from Bella Creationz. Believe it or not, I just received the pretty stamp today, it's about 6 hours ago, just in perfect time before I posted this project to Timeless Twine Blog. How I adore the new stamp, it's so beautiful and I love the font and also the words.

I make a 12"x12" page, using supplies from Webster Pages, Crate Paper and American Crafts. I stamped the "give thanks" using brown ink into a plain paper then cut and paste it on the left side of the page. Then I applied the twines to framed the photo.

"Thankful For You" Card

Hi everyone, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs...hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Autumn season. For todays project I made this wonderful "Thankful For You" card for my husband. I used Autumn Splendor twine, punched holes to the seam of the card and added brown brads to resemble the binding on a book.

I used the Inkadinkado stamp set Filigree Fall #99403 and MCS  - Fall Border for the leaves, which unfortunately is no longer available. I added some burlap behind the leaves for more texture. I distressed and inked the edges, popped up the sentiment on foam tape and used the Wink of Stella glitter pen for some shimmer. I really love how this turned out.

Enjoy...

I used Wink of Stella on the sentiment and the leaves.
